The problem
Having planned to use an HD40A to construct the concrete frame of a five storey building on the multi-million pounds developement being undertaken by Wm Verry in Harlow, their frame contractor D S Watson were faced with the problem that the intended crane supplier were unable to supply the required crane.

The solution
Someone on site remembered that R&B had previously prepared a bid to supply SETC's for the overal developement. The phone call came in - 'can you help us R&B... we need an HD40A - and an operator... in three days from now'! Although this was a big ask, R&B lived up to its reputation and delivered the crane on time, commissioned and ready to work.

The result
The HD40A delivered in record time by R&B gave Watsons the right crane at the right time and prevented delays to starting the concrete frame on time.
