The problem
The site of an EPD project being constructed by SDC was enclosed on 3 sides with no oversailing rights. The only material storage & distribution area was from an inner courtyard. There was no way of distributing materials to 2 sides and the rear of the building.

The solution
R&B installed an IGO36 which when folded could operate of be left out of service at a redius of 14m. This prevented oversailing problems while allowing distribution of all materials to their final location.

The result
The project was completed successfully and on time. Our client's Contract Manager was delighted with our standard of personal service.

Following this first successful experience, SDC have used R&B's unique 'contruction logistics' approach to deliver the optimum materials handling solution on six more projects in the following 18 months.
